I wear prescription glasses and have been battling dry eye, so I've been hunting around for money-saving sunglasses that would not only provide protection from the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays but that would also provide a barrier between my eyes and the air conditioning in the car which dries out my eyes even more when traveling in the car. Walmart carries inexpensive, polarized sunglasses that are designed to be worn over prescription glasses. These sunglasses not only completely isolate the eyes from the elements, blocking 100% of harmful UV rays and completely eliminating glare, but they also provide wrap-around protection so the air conditioning in the car or the wind outdoors will not bother my eyes at all. To make it even sweeter, the sunglasses come with a side glass area to keep from obstructing my side view when driving.
